Shorty's Tuesday Evening Behind-the-Scenes Tour of the Capitol Theatre in Yakima
Follow the theatre's resident ghost behind the curtain of Yakima's century-old stage.
About
Shorty's Tour is an in-person walk through the Capitol Theatre's most storied spaces, guided by the legend of Shorty, the theatre's resident ghost. Guests go behind the curtain to learn how the magic of theatre is made, see historic parts of the building that aren't normally open to the public, and hear about the architecture and artwork inside the theatre, plus how community support keeps the building and its arts programming going. All ages are welcome.
